"Récit mythographique et intrigues. Le cas d’Antoninus Liberalis"

Abstract : The Metamorphoses by Antoninus Liberalis have long been considered as a compilation of tales of merely documentary value. However, recent research re-evaluates the connections that these stories have with Hellenistic and Imperial poetic traditions. Based on this, I argue that their status should be redefined: narratology is particularly welcome to provide new definitions for these “tales”.
