La description numérique de la musique à l'épreuve des usagers. Le projet Dorémus

Abstract : The ANR project Dorémus aims at designing a generic model to describe musical information in order to make available and accessible this type of rich but heterogenous information. This goal faces three different constraints: a reference information model is needed to make heterogeneous data compatible; information on various cultural objects requires both documentary factual description, and also subjective information; the proposed solution has to meet the support of the audiences targeted by these data. Two studies carried out among the prospective audience have brought to light their uses, practices and aspirations, which made it possible to bring the actors of the project to propose an approach ensuring a balance between these three requirements.
